Heavy duty UV stabilised sandbags
We have developed a heavy duty sandbag far superior to anything else on the market.
The beige / black sandbags are manufactured with a heavier duty material (1000 denier polypropylene), 25% thicker than the average 800 denier sandbags available elsewhere. The amount of tapes per square inch is also higher than normal, two more per square inch adds a further 10% strength to the construction of the bag.
This heavy duty material also has a U-V stabiliser added. This creates resistance to the sunlight, further multiplying to the strength and life of the bag.
It has been known for an untreated bag to deteriorate in two weeks under intense sunlight.
Sunlight is the only factor which degrades these polypropylene sandbags, and so a heavier construction and 150 Kilo Langleys of UV-Stabiliser greatly helps to deliver a longer and more effective performance.
